Why it work in polyurethane foam?
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) is the sudden flow of electricity between two electrically charged objects caused by contact, an electrical short, or dielectric breakdown.

Anti-Static foam has unique properties allow the foam to slowly dissipate electro-static charges given off by neighboring components. Anti-Static foam is excellent for cushioning sensitive circuit boards, computer chips and other electronics, and sports stuff.

Anti Static Foam
This product is based on polyurethane foam, and after PVD conductive treatment and electrodeposited metal nickel, copper and other thickening treatments, the sponge is conductive in all directions. The product has the characteristics of good conductivity, strong binding force, high shielding efficiency, good resilience, and stable performance. It is currently the most widely used EMI/ESD material.
Application:
The material is soft, light, and has good resilience. There are various thicknesses to choose from, which is convenient and fast to be processed into various specifications. Used for EMI (electromagnetic interference) shielding, ESD (anti-static) grounding, etc., suitable for making various I/O interfaces, gaskets, LCD cushions and other purposes.
At present, the products are widely used in plasma TVs, LCD monitors, LCD TVs, mobile phones, communication equipment, medical equipment, military industry, and aerospace fields.
