Eco Friendly Packaging Foam

Super lightweight polyurethane foam can be used in upholstered furniture, office chairs, stadium seating and auditorium seating. As a cushioning material, super lightweight polyurethane foam provides the following benefits:

Lightweight: Over time the density of polyurethanes has been reduced by 30 to 40% while still maintaining the same mechanical properties. Seating foam for instance has one of the lowers densities of any plastic used in cars: 0.03 to 0.05 g/cm3. The polyurethane foam used in headliners is another good example with a density of 0.02 to 0.04 g/cm3.
